The picture of the osprey on the first page of this site was taken at Yellowstone N.P. around September 1, 2009. We were visiting the "Upper Geyeser Basin" near Old Faithful. As luck would have it, my camera was on when I heard the call of the osprey, looked up to see this (female) osprey flying overhead with the (I beleive a Cutthroat trout) in her tallons. Not bad for a moving target, moving camera and excited photographer.
